The Amen House at Amen St. Louis

A means of expressing God’s Beloved Community

The answer came as a plan to open the house to mission groups who come to St. Louis and do the varied work of supporting God’s beloved community.

Built in 1913, this Craftsman style house has served in many roles — a family home, a quiet space for worship and study, a center for preserving Indigenous cultural heritage. In 2011 the members of Oak Hill Presbyterian Church in Tower Grove South asked “How is God calling us to use this space for mission?”
